Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held talks with Mohammad Abdul Salam, the chief negotiator for Yemen’s national salvation government in the Iranian embassy in Muscat.
In the meeting, Abdul Salam thanked Iran’s moral support for the nation of Yemen and efforts to bring an end to endless sufferings of Yemeni people. He also reported on the latest status of the crisis in Yemen, negotiations with Saudi Arabia, cooperation with the UN and the humanitarian situation of the country.
Honoring the great, patient and resistant nation of Yemen, Iranian foreign minister in turn reiterated Tehran’s support for any decisions made by the Yemeni people on how to end the prolonged conflict.
