Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister’s senior advisor for special political affairs, Ali Asghar Khaji held a bilateral meeting with Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Ayman Sosan.
The 20th Astana Summit has kicked off on Tuesday morning in the capital of Kazakhstan.
Ali Asghar Khaji, who is at the head of Iranian delegation at this summit, held a meeting with Ayman Sosan.
During the summit, fighting against terrorism, changing the regional situation on Syria, resolving the crises, releasing hostages, humanitarian situation, international support of Syrian reconstruction, making preparations to return homeless people and other issues will be discussed by the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Russia, Türkiye, Iran and Syria.
In addition to delegations of these countries, representatives from UN, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq will attend as well.
